			YFF: The Big Chill Lawrence Kasdan, U.S., 1983; 103m A group of college friends, former radicals, come together for a friend's funeral. But that is just the stepping-stone for this heartfelt, incisive drama from Lawrence Kasdan. Named one of the ten-best films of 1983 by The New York Times, the film's stellar cast includes Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, William Hurt, Jeff Goldblum, JoBeth Williams, Tom Berenger, Mary Kay Place, and Meg Tilly. Cast members have been invited to participate. The Big Chill was the opening night film of the 1983 New York Film Festival. As always, an open-bar, catered reception will follow the screening. There will also be a free raffle drawing for the film's terrific 60s-era soundtrack. BTW: The cast of the film has been invited to attend the festivities!
