A Young Friends of Film event is much more than your typical night-at-the-movies. Screenings of classic Hollywood & foreign films are introduced by the film’s director or cast, or a film historian or critic and frequently followed by a Q&A. At the catered post-screening party in the Furman Gallery, adjacent to the Walter Reade Theater, you can meet & mingle at the open-bar with your fellow film buffs. Some YFF events also feature live music during the post-screening party. Your $25 ticket always includes free popcorn and soda, as well as a complimentary coat check and free raffle drawings for a great array of prizes. And sometimes even free gifts to take home!
