The three plan to steal a box containing a fortune hidden beneath a Hong Kong government building. They manage to retrieve the treasure, but it is spirited away by Wen, a cop who is not only wise to their schemes but is also having an affair with Bo-san’s wife. Soon the three are in Fai’s cab, in hot pursuit of the runaway cop, joined in their efforts to find him by Bo-san’s wife.
