But Bozo’s real target that evening is Hoffman, a visiting German businessman with whom Bozo is trying to conclude a deal. Also present is Iva’s uncle Darko, who comes accompanied by his “escort,” Nina. Gradually, tensions mount and the situation threatens to spin out of control, all while Iva’s recording with her new toy. Beautifully shot by experimental filmmaker Vedran Samonovic, What Iva Recorded captures the evening from Iva’s point of view, a conceit that’s sustained throughout the entire film.
