Monday or Tuesday details one day in the life of Marko, a Zagreb journalist. His thoughts about his ex-wife and present girlfriend meet with his fears about the worsening international situation to evoke memories of the wars and of those experiences during the war he’d rather keep buried. Mimica freely shifts point of view, changes film stocks and moves between staged sequences and spontaneous encounters, creating an extraordinarily vivid and not necessarily admirable impression of Marko and his world.
