Full disclosure: there is no real theme to this program, but there is a thread. Composed of mostly short works, the show is structured like a mix-tape. A special focus (but again, not a common denominator) has been placed on imaginative uses of sound. Visual elements of realism, allegory, fantasy, and simply glorious abstraction merge, mingle, and mutate. There are a few familiar names, like Tom Kalin and Jordan Crandall, an example of the art of rising star Tamy Ben-Tor, and (hopefully) a bunch of people that will be new to fans of the genre. If you like your video a bit on the trippy side, this is the event for you.
