Not of the Lord, certainly, but this program of short works deals with ideas of playing — playing with style, the media, and perhaps even toying with the viewer. There is, of course, real play, in a manner of speaking: witness Shannon Plumb’s olympic feats. The notion of play as drama is also in evidence in the musings of a possible suicide bomber. Beyond that look for tricks of light and of editing, and tricks of electronics. See sci-fi fun and documentation of the biggest useless feats. Many of these works are one-liners stretched to two lines or more, but in the end, we applaud them all — you’ll see.
