Kino-Pravda #16 is especially notable for including some actors’ exercises and rehearsals from the Prolekult Theater, one of whose artistic directors was a young Sergei Eisenstein. Indeed, Eisenstein's first experience with filmmaking, Glumov's Diary, now lost, was made for use within one of his Prolekult plays. The scenes included here are a rare record of Eisenstein's theatrical work.
