A Tribute to Ralph Fiennes

Special $25 tickets available in the balcony!

"Mr. Fiennes has brilliantly embodied the larger-than-life creations of writers such as Shakespeare, Dickens, and Graham Greene, among others, and given us an extraordinary body of work to celebrate. The Film Society is excited to honor him at this year’s New York Film Festival not only as an actor, but as the director of The Invisible Woman, truly one of the noteworthy films of the year." —Rose Kuo, Film Society Executive Director

Ralph Fiennes burst into the public consciousness with his harrowing Academy Award® nominated performance in Schindler’s List (1993) and has continued to raise the film industry’s standard of excellence ever since. Film highlights include The English Patient (1996), Oscar and Lucinda (1997), The Avengers (1998), The Constant Gardener (2005), The Hurt Locker (2008) and Fiennes' feature film directorial debut Coriolanus (2011).

Join us as we pay tribute to the Award-winning actor, featuring an extended on-stage conversation followed by the U.S. premiere of his latest film, The Invisible Woman. Support for this evening is provided by Esquire.
