Mike Leigh

Film and theater director Mike Leigh is best known for his films which focus on the British working class, his kitchen-sink realist style, and his extensive use of improvisation. Leigh has been considerably successful, most notably with his films Naked (1993), Secrets & Lies (1996), and Vera Drake (2004).
