More Added Screenings and NYFF Gets an App!

Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave

Loud and clear! When we announced that we would be adding screenings of popular New York Film Festival films throughout the fest, by far the most requested films were the Coen brothers' Inside Llewyn Davis and Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave. We are excited (or perhaps relieved) to announce that your demands have been met! On Friday, September 13 at 10:00am, the following screenings will go on sale:

Inside Llewyn Davis – 10/11, 9:00pm (WRT)
12 Years a Slave – 10/8, 10:40pm (WRT)
12 Years a Slave – 10/13, 5:00pm (WRT)

Great news, right? Even better is that we're not done yet! As we work to bring you more, we've got a whole new way for you to stay up to date with the latest NYFF51 news, and it's another thing we've gotten requests for over and over again: a New York Film Festival app!

The NYFF app, now available for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices, lets you browse and discover our films and programs, get the latest ticket alerts and breaking festival news, create your own custom schedule, share with friends via social media, and more!

We've included some screen grabs below, but since the app is free, you can download it right now (iOS version here, Android version here) and experience it for yourself!

But the best news? The 51st New York Film Festival is only 15 days away...
