Film Society of Lincoln Center staff join the collective conversation about the year's best films with almost two dozen weighing on with their top 10 favorites of 2013.

Hollywood classics, docs, silent films and experimental works spanning 1919 -2002 are among the 25 motion pictures joining the National Film registry of the Library of Congress. Their designation will mean the titles will "be preserved as cinematic treasures for generations to come."
