On Thursday NYFF will present the latest work by Iranian director Jafar Panahi, which he made while he was under house arrest and a ban from filmmaking for supporting the 2009 anti-government protests in Tehran, and which had to be smuggled out of Iran on a hard drive hidden inside a cake.
