If you've found yourself curious about the upcoming Sundance Channel program, The Returned (Les Revenants), have we got a treat for you! The French television series, inspired by the 2004 film They Came Back (which had its U.S. Premiere in New Directors/New Films), will have the first two episodes screened at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 23rd at 4pm. If that's not enough, the event will be free for all comers. Even better: three of the series' producers will be on hand to answers your questions after the screening!

Hailed by The Los Angeles Times as “the best series of the fall, possibly of the year," The Returned has gained fans across the globe, and a theatrical event such as this one feels necessary. Thus, the Film Society is happy to celebrate the occasion with this premiere. Episode One: Camille and Episode Two: Simon will be featured in this free event, taking place in our Amphitheater at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center. There will be a limit of one ticket per person, so bring your friends to join in on the fun!

Co-presented by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and Music Box Films, November 23rd will mark the day the dead return to walk once more. Producers Carole Scotta, Jimmy Desmarais and Caroline Benjo will join in the festivities so be sure to arrive early to get your free ticket. It will be a night to get scared, have fun and learn more about the production of the show. The Returned will make its presence known in New York on November 23rd only here at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

The screenings will be free to the public and tickets will be available at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (144 West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam) box office on a first-come, first-served basis one hour prior. Limit one complimentary ticket per person, subject to availability. For more information visit Filmlinc.com.
