Ash Christian's Petunia

Wolfe Releasing acquires Petunia for 2013 release
Wolfe Releasing purchased U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to Ash Christian’s dark comedy Petunia, according to Indiewire. Petunia follows a dysfunctional New York family with three uncertain sons and two meddling parents all heading for breakdown.

“This is our second release with the incredibly talented writer-director Ash Christian," said Wolfe president Maria Lynn. “We loved working on his previous film Mangus! and our audience really responds to the unique cinematic universe he creates. With the added bonus of its stellar cast, we’re really looking forward to the reception Petunia receives."

Petunia screened at Film Society as part of New York's premiere LGBT film festival NewFest in July, alongside three other Wolfe Releasing titles: Mosquita y Mari, My Best Day and Kiss Me. Look for Petunia’s theatrical release in 2013 with VOD and DVD release to follow.
