Join Michael Ondaatje for a discussion of his insightful new book The Conversations: Walter Murch and the Art of Film Editing. The author and his subject became friends during the making of The English Patient, and Ondaatje spent many hours with the brilliant, and brilliantly articulate, Mr. Murch, discussing the fine points of his craft. The discussion will be followed by a screening of one of the finest films Murch has ever worked on, Francis Ford Coppola's THE CONVERSATION - for which no introduction is necessary.
