NYFF Press/Industry Accreditation Accreditation, offered to qualified members of the Press and Industry, allows free entry to New York Film Festival Press/Industry Screenings that will commence this year on September 18. Accreditation does NOT allow access to New York Film Festival Public Screenings. Accreditation is usually extended by invitation only. Inquiries about new accreditation applications should be directed to the appropriate email address. If you are applying for accreditation for the first time, you will be notified of your accreditation status by email. The deadline for submission of materials is September 8. If you are unable to open or print the application, please contact us to have one sent to you. Please read and follow the application guidelines for accreditation carefully. Fill out the application form. 2. All applicants must submit a recent photo. Attach a passport-size (1.5” x 1.5”) photo. Do NOT use color xeroxes or I.D. cards. Print your name and affiliation clearly on the back of photo. Clip your photo to the application; do NOT glue or staple it. Alternatively, you may submit a digital photo that must be 450 pixels x 450 pixels, minimum 240 resolution and in jpg, eps, tif or pdf format. Press should email it to ; Industry to . Please indicate on your application that you are submitting your photo by email. 3. Include appropriate support materials. Press applicants need to include a “letter of assignment” from your editor. 4. Return the application form by September 8. After Receiving Accreditation Passes must be picked up by the applicant in person from the New York Film Festival Press/Industry Office located in the Walter Reade Theater’s Furman Gallery starting September 18 or before the first screening you attend. Passes will NOT be mailed. If someone other than the applicant must pick up the pass, approval and arrangements must be made in advance. Please Note 1. All passes will bear the holder’s I.D. photo, name, and affiliation. 2. All passes are non-transferable and admit one person only — the authorized bearer. 3. No guests are allowed. 4. No blank passes will be admitted to press screenings. 5. Wear your passes on the lanyards provided to facilitate entry to the theaters. 6.
