The 268-seat Walter Reade Theater offers film, video and data projection services in an elegant, plush environment. The theater is a comfortable space for large presentations, corporate events or movie screenings. In the adjacent Furman Gallery, we can customize seating arrangements for meetings or receptions. From gatherings of a dozen to hundreds of people, the Walter Reade Theater staff will work with you to realize a successful special event.

Dimensions
Capacity: 268 with 25 removable seats for the handicapped located throughout. Theator Interior: 45' wide by 85' long. Step seating in rear auditorium and 8 degree slope in front. Adjacent gallery/reception area is 30' wide by 42' long.

Acoustics
The acoustical treatment consists of interchangeable fabric and wood panels, making it uniquely adaptable for both film projection, which requires absorbent surfaces, and live music, which requires a more reflective surface.

•Barco DP2000 2K DCI compliant DLP projector with Dolby 3D
•Video decks available: HDCAM (Sony J-H3), Digibeta and Beta SP NTSC and PAL (Sony J-3 , J-30), HDV (Sony HVR-M25U), DVCAM (Sony DSR-11), DVC PRO (Panasonic AJ –D250), DVD, VHS, and 3/4” U-Matic
